After half an hour someone finally came and turned the alarm off. There was no response from the fire department!"

"Amal is a good location for exploring the lakes. There a couple of ok places to eat out, but not as many as I'd have liked. Definitely a base rather than a location. Hotel is in an older building and decorated sympathetically. Our room had plenty of space, but no tea or coffee making facilities."
