"This Fairy Home was charming. The decor is minimal, but sweet. Sufficiently supplied with basic necessities for bathroom, kitchen and bed. We enjoyed the massive patio door and electric blinds. Private laundry was appreciated. Great, thorough instructions and directions from train station to office, to apartment."

"Beautiful spot, but difficult to access without a rental car. We were travelling on foot/train/bus and we had to rely solely on the 2 or 3 taxis in the township. The walk was ok downhill, but very arduous going back (We're in our 70's). We chose Varenna as it much more affordable than Ballagio, and the views are simply breathtaking. With a car, this would have been perfect, but we also found that the locals were very accommodating and actually took us home in their own vehicles a few...

"Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wirklich hervorragend. Toller Ausblick vom Balkon, kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten an der Straße. Im Vorfeld hat man viele Informationen erhalten, sodass man alles schnell gefunden hat. Die Unterkunft selbst ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, relativ rustikal eingerichtet, das Sofa ist leider komplett durchgesessen. Es ist viel Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden. Wir hatten einige Probleme mit den Steckdosen, der Stecker der Waschmaschine passt nicht in die Steckdose....
