"A good location near the harbour. Easy to access and on site parking. Were only there for a night but check in and out were easy. Only negative is that the room smelt a little like smoke, maybe the sheets?"

"We had a fantastic stay. We received a warm welcome with a hand written card and a delicious coconut bread. The staff was nice and very helpful. We booked the deluxe suites/adjacent rooms to accommodate three adults and four kids (12, 10, 4 and 1). The rooms have everything one could ask for. They are very spacious, feel luxurious, the design is modern, the bathrooms are nicely tiled and the shower is hot (which we've not had at other places we've stayed at during our visit to Belize). "We loved our stay at Fort George. We had a group of 10 and everything was great. We enjoyed Tapas and wine special, rooms were excellent. Both the 2 bedroom penthouse and the King seaview rooms were great. The treehouse restaurant accomodated us for a lunch, everything was just nice, relaxing and perfect for what we needed. Staff was so friendly as well."
