"We had a very nice stay for two nights. Both pools are excellent, staff are very friendly, the room was clean and had modern amenities. Breakfast was excellent however, we had lunch at the hotel one day and it was only okay. There are a few monkeys around the property however, most never come into the actual hotel. For note, the hotel is based on top of a hill which is a very steep climb. While there is an outdoor lift for luggage and personal use, it does operate very slowly so the stairs are usually the quicker, but more straining option. From there it is a 10 minute walk into town which is convenient. But overall we had a very nice stay. "

Wonderful food, very comfy big bed, co working space is brilliant with comfy chairs, right on the beach, but the staff are the kindest and make it a wonderful place. "Once of the best stays while on vacation in Sri Lanka. Clean rooms, conveniently located and friendly staff. The food was amazing as well. They took good care of us from day one. I left my iPods in my room and didn’t even realize it until they called me after we checked out and left to let me know. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. "Our room was on the third floor with an amazing view over Mirrisa beach. The hotel is up a steep slope with quite a few steps and no lift. I loved the hotel design features with interesting lighting and features of older buildings. Breakfast is a la carte but with plenty of fruit, 1 slice toast 1 cake and a choice of hot food eg omelette. The pool is lovely but there are a limited number of beds. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants, bars and sun loungers. Unfortunately there is a building being built right in front of the hotel blocking the sea view for the lower floors and the restaurant. This was quite noisy and drilling did disturb the peace. It's not clear how high this will end up but if you want a sea view from your room choose the highest floor. "
