Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Complete scam

Booked a day before staying, received confirmation from Hotels.com, sent message to the property asking about how to check in, no response. Arrived to the property from my flight to Belgrade at 11:45 pm, check in listed until midnight. Rang the bell, person popped up in a window saying that she doesn't have my reservation and advising me to call listed number. Called, was told to SMS. Asked how to check in, was told that check in until 11 pm and asked to send photo of my passport in WhatsApp. Since I don't have one decided to book another hotel to get accommodated. Recap: 1. Property lied on the listing about check-in time. 2. I'm expected even being a foreigner to Serbia to have cellular service and WhatsApp installed on a phone. Such a places shouldn't be listed on Hotels.com as completely not verified.
