"We chose this hotel as an overnight stop on the way from Dunkirk to the Black Forest in Germany, purely because of its position along our route. We knew nothing about Dinant until much later. A fascinating place, lovely architecture, a small museum at the birthplace of Adolphe Saxe, inventor of the saxophone, and Maison Leffe, the home of my favourite Belgian beer! "The reception area was convenient and the check in process was easy. The gentleman escorted me to the room and explained which doors would be available during evening hours. He also gave a brief explanation of how everything in the room worked (lights, air conditioning) and pointed out the refrigerator as well as the coffee maker and condiments. The touch of leaving a couple of water bottles in the refrigerator for us was very much appreciated. "
