Bangor Grande

Bangor Grande

8/10 Good
"A pretty tired hotel. Needs a lot more attention. For example the doors to the rooms need to be painted in an attempt to make the place more welcoming."

Best Western White House Inn

Best Western White House Inn

10/10 Excellent
"We were SO pleasantly surprised by this hotel! We stayed in the three-queen-bed suite and it was absolutely huge—especially compared to most hotel rooms. We had so much space to spread out, which was amazing when traveling with kids. It was easily one of the most comfortable hotel stays of our trip. The pool area was probably our favorite surprise. The outdoor pool is HEATED, which we weren’t expecting at all and made such a difference! And the hot tub is unlike any hotel hot tub I’ve seen. It’s enormous—more like a small pool—deep, spacious, and even has a waterfall feature. The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever, and we loved it too. Breakfast was fine and had enough options to get everyone fed, but nothing particularly special. Honestly, though, that didn’t take away from our stay at all. For the amount of space we had and how much we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, this place was such a win. If you’re traveling with a larger family and can snag the three-queen suite, DO IT. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Advisory to travelers: The hotel office is not always manned but they have 2 phone numbers meets posted on the door. I got an immediate response from Nicole who was awesome. She walked me through the cypher lock on room door and sent me 2 follow on notes to call if I needed anything. Great customer service —I have traveled extensively for business and pleasure, and that means a lot to me. Would definitely stay again. As coincidence, I met a guy at downtown bar who was also staying there and he liked it very much as well."

The Country Inn at Camden Rockport

The Country Inn at Camden Rockport

8/10 Good
"Very nice property that was close to downtown Camden. The cottage we stayed in was very roomy and had the basics like a regular hotel room. The staff was wonderful and eagerly helped us with any needs. The hot breakfast was tasty and all we needed to start our day. I wish we hadn’t been so tired at the end of the day to enjoy the outside fire pit but we didn’t have enough energy left, however it was beautiful. We did enjoy the pool and hot tub however! Only issue was that our cottage was dated and you could see places that needed to be fixed or replaced but nothing that took away from our stay and our needs. Recommend this property especially with children."
