"I usually like to give excellent reviews. I hesitate here. I'll begin with the positives. The check out woman at the desk on Monday was cheerful and a great way to start my day. The room/suite was set up well and everything was useful. The hall was quiet and I slept well both nights in spite of highway location. Now, the less positive. The first room we were given immediately smelled of cigarettes. We went down to change rooms and the desk attendant gave us another room. This room smelled better but was shabbier than the first. I had a headache so we stayed. The entire hotel had an air of cigarettes even though signs posted everywhere demanded No Smoking. The elevator carpets were filthy. The outdoor entrance in the back to the rooms were soiled by garbage removal. Sometimes, the air in the room smelled like sewage. I don't like to complain, but, I was disappointed. We needed a fresh, clean place to stay because we were dealing with some tough family stuff. This hotel did not help."
