"Russell and the Emerson Soice team made us feel welcome from start to finish. A fabulous building with lots of history and in a great location in Stonetown. The rooms were all very individually themed and the bed was very comfortable. The fans and ac were welcomed for the warmer nights. The hotel private a great breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, eggs, pastries tea and coffee on the roof top tea house restaurant. Great views of Stonetown ! The Secret Garden restaurant served some lovely fresh dishes and drinks and there is live local music a couple of nights a week. Overall I’d highly recommend the Emerson Spice Hotel and thanks for a great stay (and thanks for the late checkout too)"

They served a wonderful breakfast on the veranda. The reception and breakfast staff were very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. Our room was spacious and filled with beautiful Zanzibari details."
