Was not aware of payment method if choose pay later and no Office at property.. I know how all works now txt will come with entry details after money out day of stay. Requested quiet cabin got that with lovely garden setting very walkable to historic Beechworth once up steepish driveway Totally enjoyable stay with very accommodating operator after lateish departure glitch. Nice quiet cabin
Great cabin in a perfect and quiet location. Only 5 mins walk to the main street so didn't need to use the car. The manager was friendly and helpful at check-in.

We had a great stay here! We booked out all 4 units and stayed with a group of friends. The owners were amazing in accommodating us. They stocked up some wood for us so we could sit around the fire pit and share stories late into the night. Can’t recommend this place enough

Everything & more in the cupboards for a good weeks stay… A cosy cabin for 2 ,, though sleeps 5… friendly magpies out back, friendly staff out front.. shower has good heat & pressure,, & AC worked a treat… Will be first choice when heading back…

Unit 1: quiet roomy and well appointed. The only problem was it was exceedingly difficult to find the property at night from the road.

It was quiet and very clean. Had everything you could need for a short stay. Bed was comfortable but a tight fit if you are tall like my husband. He is 6'2" and the bed was a little short for his comfort but didn't stop him having a good sleep. Kate us very efficient and friendly and the instructions to get in were clear. Can thoroughly say check them out for your next stay. Oh...some salt and pepper would be good to have on hand 😊

The property is very near Ford Street but is situated in a quiet part of the area. The triple bunk bed in the cabin is more suited for young children rather than adults. Communication with the owner was good and checking in and out was a breeze.

Adequate for a quick stop/visit. Good for a quick stroll to the main street along a nice park & wateerway. Cabin a bit tired: Old towells, blown light bulbs and torn curtains. The biggest issue was the small double bed for a 6ft person meaning an uncomfortable nights sleep

Location was good. Cleanliness of kitchen, beds and bathroom good but there was dust on all higher rails and top of shelves etc. Cobwebs in all rooms at ceiling height and we had 2 cockroaches the first night. Backyard in need of a good tidy up - but we had a bonus koala in a tree the first night.

Small cabin that is looking a little tired, but everythingis in working order. Communication on the check in day was great, but could have been better leadind up to it. Location was great and overall it was a pleasant stay.

These cabins are ideal as the layout is practical and the location is convenient to all of the main activities in Beechworth. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We would go back.

The property is well situated, a walking distance into town. The place has only a few cabins so it is very quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful, happy to give direction or advice about what to do or visit. Worth a stay!

This property was in a good location and reasonably priced but we were very disappointed to find that the cabin was generally very unclean with bed sheets that felt unclean and dirty. Furthermore, there were several cobwebs in the bedroom and lots of small insects were on the bed sheets on the top bunk, which meant that we needed to use a lot of our insect repellent! There were several other bugs, beetles and ants in various areas of the cabin. Unfortunately we checked in rather late after a long day driving so went out for dinner immediately after checking in and hence we didn’t notice these issues until we were preparing for bed and by then it was too late to raise them with the members of staff who checked us in. We hardly slept that night and were relieved to get away first thing the following morning. It is a real shame that this could have been an enjoyable visit had the cabin been thoroughly cleaned and clean sheets provided prior to our check in. I’d advise management to clean the cabins more thoroughly soon before each guest is due to arrive and if bugs are likely to be present in the area due to the weather maybe warn guests about this prior to checking in and provide extra repellent?

Thanks for your feedback. It was a shame you weren’t able to direct the feedback via phone or in person on the night you stayed. We check the cabins prior to each guest check in and change the bed sheets every single time a guest checks out. Bugs are part of the bushy environment here in Beechworth and given the weather conditions of late, unfortunately we have to put up with them.

Nice people and a quiet location that is an easy walk to the middle of town. The cabins are in good nick and set in a nice place. Bonus points for getting welcomed by a happy dog.

not a win - would not stay again
Not a great experience. They say you get what you pay for, but in this case we didn’t even get this, despite it being relatively cheap. Dirty cabins, spiders and all kinds of insects inside, bad smell. Would not recommend to anyone I know after having stayed here. There’s better places in Beechworth for the same price.

The cabin was easy to access with parking next to the front door. The cabin was clean, fresh and comfortable with everything required for a few days away. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and gave me some great tips on places to visit in the area.

Quiet location, equipped kitchen which was good - but the bed was so uncomfortable, we didn't sleep all night - it sags and rolls into the middle, the worst bed we had in our 2 week trip around Victoria. Also overpriced compared to where we stayed in Beechworth the night before, which was unfortunately booked out. Wish we had stayed somewhere else.

I am also sorry that you didn’t feel confident enough to tell us about your stay in person, so we could have assisted. We do appreciate all forms of feedback however it is hard to help guests when they inform us through reviews 2 weeks after their stay. We will look at the bed referred to and ensure that if it is broken to replace it. We knew that this was fairly basic accomodation but it was clean and perfectly adequate for the two days we were in Beechworth. We didn't have any problems so didn't need to communicate with the owners and it was a very easy, relaxed stay.
