"Would highly recommend. Rustic room with extra sitting room, private balcony overlooking the river and palace of the Popes. Enjoyed walking around the old village, just down the hill from Maison Orisini. Host was wonderful providing maps and a tasty breakfast. We stayed 4 nights. No.5 Bus close by into main town of Avignon or 35mins walk."

"There are hotels, and there is La Verriere! The desceiption online does not give ita due to the place. We stayed for 2 nights but could probbaly have stayed for a week and enjoy. The best word to describe La Verriere is 'impeccable'. It is located at the Chene Bleu winery at a 9th centiry priory. The hotel part of the estate offers a lovely garden, an infinity pool, a hot tub, and a small gym. There is also a summer kitchen with coffee, tea, some sweets and refrigirators. "What a great find for us! This place is so charming! We wish we had booked for longer. The parking is a little tight as European cars have gotten larger over time, but it’s safe and gated. The staff was extremely welcoming and was able to get us a dinner reservation at the last minute. We weren’t here long, but the pool looked inviting and every room was clean and comfortable. They make their own face and body scrubs, which feel amazing! Definitely will be back!"

"We had wonderful and unique experience staying at this French country farm style B&B/hotel, very quiet place surrounded by fruit orchard, we felt we stayed in a paradise. The hosts, Reve and Emma are so nice and helpful, their breakfast are just unbelievably fresh and tasty with variety of bread, croissant, jam, juice, fruit, egg and pie etc..the best breakfast in our entire 2 weeks trip in France. Our room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning helped a lot in the extreme hot...

"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "

"the front desk closes at 7pm and they charge you 25 euro to call them if it's a non-emergency. we didn't have any sheets on one of the beds so there was nothing we could do. rooms are very basic and dated"
