"Bedding and towels were clean. No washcloths in the room. Room was ice cold when we arrived. Floor wasn’t super clean and there was what appeared to be a small amount of blood splattered on the wall by the tv. A very basic stay for a very low price. Did the job. "
"The room stank of a very pungent cleaning product, burned our eyes and we felt it in our sinuses. Our clothes stink of it. The towels were tattered and had black dirty spots on them and other discolored stains. Got new towels and theywere marginally better. Hot water lasted maybe five minutes, not enough for two people to shower back to back."
"As always The Wren was an exceptional place to stay. Welcoming to pups and the employees who Checked us in and checked us out were friendly and fun to chat with. There was one exception. As we were leaving we asked for a towel from the front desk. Our dog had jumped in the river and we wanted to dry him off a bit before we got in the car. It looked as though the employees were having a meeting. One man looked at us and said, we only have towels with urine on them. We were taken aback a little. I informed him that we had stayed there and paid the $35 pet fee. Your property doesn’t have towels at the desk?
It was very off putting. We love The Wren we will stay there again but that guy was a jerk.
To reiterate it was not any employee that checked us in or out. They were great! Whoever that other guy is during the morning huddle is not a good representation of your property. "
"I don't know why they have hot tub listed, we booked for that, it was closed for the season. That's should be mentioned. The heaters in the next room were so loud they made the windows rattle. Make sure you bring ear plugs.
Room was clean, staff was pleasant, but didn't have the pool or hot tub open, so if you're booking for that or a light sleeper go somewhere else."
