"We love it"

"This motel’s biggest draw was its proximity to the beach! Just 6 short blocks to the coast to walk the miles of sand and see the huge surf! Staff was friendly and the tea/coffee at the check-in area was appreciated. Clean room but noisy with all the dogs barking and the doors that automatically slammed shut unless you closed them softly yourself. Bare bones but great value and beach access."

"Booked this hotel only to be about 5 minutes away and told they didnt have a room for us."

"Very large and clean room! However, we had an issue down the road at a different hotel that ended with us leaving and the staff here told us they would have lied about having a homeless or drug problem because its not an upsale. Needless to say, we checked in and walked to the parking lot to be met by some other guests looking for a score and cash. Didn't feel safe traveling with a child."

"Overall our room was decent and it was clean. There were a couple things that were annoying though. When we checked in we were informed the fireplace wasnt working, the front desk lady was super nice and they did give me a partial refund on the room rate. I was disappointed though as having the fire going with the ocean is always my favorite part and it was my birthday weekend so I was looking forward to it. The TV's in the room are not smart TV's so that was annoying, the TV in the master room is smaller than the one in the guest room, weird in my opinion and the cords were all hanging down the wall under the TV with no wall plate covering the outlet. Small details but they do matter in the overall appearance of the place. The bathroom is small with zero counterspace to put anything. The biggest complaint I have though is the very loud dishwasher was going when we got in our room at 4pm. I was extremely annoyed that I was "expected" to unload the dishwasher on my vacation. Which I didn't do, its my birthday getaway Im not doing someone elses dishes. Two of my kids have cleaned houses for work with VRBO and on the mountain and they always started the dishwasher right away, cleaned the room and then put the dishes away. Overall my trip was fabulous and the room was nice, but not $650 nice for 2 nights. "
