"Bed was so uncomfortable. Could feel the springs poking into me. We took 2 rooms with 2 double beds each. All 4 beds were the same. Hotel seem to have done some aesthetic updates but beds were left out of it."

"The rooms were adequate for our stay but a little bit dated. The carpet has seen better days, and our shower leaked out water and had nowhere to drain. The bathroom was very small. The staff in the bar and restaurant were very friendly and helpful though. The food served was pretty food."

"Love the upstairs section. Spa superb. Only thing was bar fridge froze some of our food. This is our favourite place to stay on East Coast. St Helen’s is one of the best towns to be in too. Great locality to everything"
