Bufort, sc. This may be the last small unknown coastal town on the east coast. Take everything you've ever seen and heard about small southern coastal towns, and then add in beautiful houses, scenery, great food, wonder culture, and a town park with places for kids to play, people to dance, loves to watch sunsets, and open air bars and restaurants for entertainment. Then you will get a picture of this place. This place is so easy going that after 3 days here I felt as if I had been rested for a week. This town and it's surrounding beaches, state parks, golf courses, and shops offer a true feel of southern coastal Carolina.
