"The room was clean, probably could be a little better with upkeep, but all in all it was good, the bed was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice, I mean you could tell they were overwhelmed but it was graduation weekend at UMW, so they were fully booked and trying to please everyone the best they could. The breakfast was great, one of the best breakfasts from a hotel I have had in a long time! Parking is okay, hardly any handicap spots, so with my disabled nephew with me, we had to park fairly far from our room and it was quite difficult to get him and all the stuff to the room."

"The pool is small, and the towels in the pool area were never stocked. We had to ask for towels all 3 times we used it. Smoke detector was missing with wires hanging. I had to alert staff who didn’t take it as serious as it should be. Eventually someone found me a working smoke detector. The room was clean on the surface but smelled musty. My daughter saw a “large insect” that ran across the bathroom sink. I never saw it, so I can’t say what it might have been. I hope we didn’t bring a cockroach home with us. Not a lot of options so close to our venue, so maybe this was the best. I probably won’t pick this hotel again."

"The place really is just not kept up with. The wifi is so slow that many connections fail. There are missing pieces of trim and holes in some walls. The was a bunch of pickles and lettuce on the ground by the stairs. The EV chargers are hit or miss. The Tesla chargers work if you have a Tesla, but if you have an SAE/CCS based plug, the CCS charger is broken and using a NACS adapter for the Tesla's fail the connection test. In the evenings there were tailgaters in the basement imbibing in copious amounts of weed and alcohol that made it unpleasant to even park in the basement. 0/10, would not recommend"

"Check in was fast and easy. The decor and finishings are very modernized for the cost per night. No complaints about cleanliness- not to say it was perfect, but overall it was a very comfortable stay and we slept great. Breakfast was decent. Only scrambled eggs and link sausage was hot."
