"I expected a little better view of the water since it was so close to the river. We appreciated the Keurig coffee maker with pods since we weren't planning to buy food supplies. They gave very good suggestions about places to eat. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. We would stay there again."

"Enjoyed the staff and property. Close to Southport and the coast yet close to local restaurants not just “resort” priced restaurants. Breakfast was ok but not many fruit offerings and items weren’t always refilled in a timely manner."

"What a wonderful staff. So pleasant and thoughtful. The pool was new during my stay; I was not able to use it. It looks as if it is about to open. It also has several other wonderful outdoor game areas for families to enjoy. My room was wonderful, with plenty os space for both of us to store and organize our belongings and keep the room in good shape to enjoy. Comfortable bed and pillows too, and everything we needed. "There are teens that come off the boardwalk and use the pools- inside and outside. The lack of supervision means they get out of hand behaviorally. There were two teens actually engaging in sexual activity in the inside pool one night. We informed staff and it took over 30 minutes for anyone to come.
