Absolutely stunningly beautiful, unusual and authentic little boutique hotel, each room decorated individually. Rooms are in lovely old style Cambodian wooden houses around an ornate pond and there's a fabulous no-chlorine swimming pool. All the staff are so lovely and friendly, the food was the best we've had in Cambodia, the cocktails were epic, and the owners were always coming to chat with the guests. Super helpful at arranging local transport by tuk-tuk - which you'll need as it's a couple of km out of Battambang. Also helped us with visits to the local attractions and onward travel to SR. If you want an amazing Khmer experience stay here, and make sure you visit the very old traditional Khmer houses in the village near the temple, well worth a look and only 5 mins walk away. If, alternatively, you look for fault in everywhere you stay, or want a high-tech uniform mega-dull clone hotel go and stay in a Crowne Plaza! Or stay at home preferably!

Lovely staff could not be more helpful and smiling Very atmospheric dining area overlooking a lily pond Lovely food , freshly prepared and very nice selection of cocktails from the bar Coffee-the best we’ve had in Cambodia and free to residents (tea also) Salt water pool with adequate sun loungers (ten rooms, it was never busy) Spacious clean rooms and nice showers. Air con that works Comfy bed Nice balcony over looking pond with relaxing chairs Property is a bit dated but well thought out There is a temple locally and during festival time it might wake you! ,but you get used to it Overall we would stay again.

Upon arriving to the property, we were greeted pretty fairly. The host gave us complimentary drinks and cold towels. We were given three rooms (which we requested) and one room still had another customers item still in there. She apologized and rectified the room. However when we went for breakfast the male owner greeted everyone except our table. We noticed the service was catered for white people vs same colored skin. The service was horrible. Breakfast was small portion and they were stingy with the portion! Upon checking out there was no one to help grab the suitcase to help us out and we were on the second floor (no elevator). I was extremely disappointed! Def will not recommend this place! I feel that they post pictures of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to catfished travelers!! It’s a cute hotel but hidden away.

The best service ever
Amazing tranquil place to stay! The staff is so helpful and nice that makes it really an exceptional place - the best service I have ever experienced anywhere. Very nice garden and a pond on the premises, good food and overall just really nice boutique hotel.

Beautiful bohemian place. Staff outstanding. Food good. Although it's part of rural Cambodia I found the loud music through megaphones coming from all angles (locals play loud music and it carries, temples have loud prayers etc) disturbing. The hotel provides ear plugs but it takes away from the serenity of the place. Overall we did have a wonderful experience.

Loved this place. Rustic yet with an elegant sophistication. The property is secure, comfortable, sweet touches and staffed with attentive, professional staff. We really felt loved. The room was comfy. The food was delicious. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend it.

stayed here for a lovely three nights. this place felt very much like it was run by a family (although I don't believe that is the case), so if you go there with that in mind, you can have a lovely stay. oil massage was one of the best I've ever had. food is also excellent. salt water swimming is great for swimming laps or just taking a dip. we had rented a scooter from battambang for the duration of our stay, which made it convenient to get around; otherwise it's a bit far out, and you'll have to arrange for transportation to get around.

Beautiful hotel grounds and rooms, far enough from town to be quiet and calm except in the Wedding season ... March April, when music blasts from 5am to 12 at night! This happens all over town and no escaping it in Battambang or Siem Reap for that matter. Otherwise perfect location! Beautiful pool too...

Peaceful oasis, still close to city center
We stayed for four days at the end of our vacation, and found this location very relaxing. Staff was very helpful. We had several meals on site that were excellent (though from a set menu, so check to make sure you are okay with what they are serving before you decide to eat there for a particular meal). I enjoyed relaxing by the lotus pond (hammocks and chairs under shade, with ceiling fans) and swimming in the salt water pool. Do be aware that since this is just outside the city proper, there are no tuk-tuk drivers just waiting by the entrance, you need to ask the staff to call a driver for you, it just took 10-15 minutes, so wasn't an issue for us.

Mycket trevlig omgivning och en mycket gästvänlig och service minded personal. Rymliga och överlag trevliga rum men alldeles för hårda sängar med mycket obekväma kuddar. Tyvärr. It looks like most of the things went very well with you and you were happy almost in everything except the hard beds and pillows.The prayer from the pagoda or sometime the noise comes from the villages wedding ceremony or religion ceremonies can be happening in everywhere around Cambodia as we have mentioned in your room, all of these might be happening and that's not in our control. Regarding the beds are hard that you mentioned, it maybe hard for you, but you may also tell us at the hotel so that we could add one or two more toppers in order to make the beds softer. Ett fantastiskt hotell med riktigt bra service. Ägaren är jättetrevlig och mån om oss. Ett stort tack till "Dan" Tuk tuk föraren som var väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig.Tyvärr är där lite för många bröllop i omgivningen, som börjar spela musik alldeles för tidigt på morgonen.

Idyllisk rolig tropisk hotell i gamle trebygninger rundt et lite vakkert tjern med vannliljer! Store rom, rolig og stille, flotte rene bad. Utmerket service, svært hjelpsomme. Helt grei frokost. Flott bassengområde med varierte muligheter for å sløve i skyggen eller solen! Kort vei til gamle bamboo train. Et stykke inn til byen, ta tuktuk (mye løshunder). Vi hadde en fin natt her!

Maison Wat Kor is located 2 km south of Battambang in a quite area. It is a 10 bedroom hotel with 3 small buildings in the middle of a very nice tropical garden. It was built recently, however in a Kmer style with large terraces and using a lot of nice wood. The staff is very helpful, well trained and easy to communicate with. This makes for a very relaxing, enjoyable experience. I definitely recommend.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits à Battambang à Maison Wat Kor. La gérante Lucile est vraiment très sympathique et le service était sur mesure. Pour le diner, rien à dire les employés s'adaptaient à nos envies et la nourriture étaient simple mais très bonne. Petite mention spéciale aux fleurs frites de frangipanier en apéro, un délice! La literie est de très bonne qualité et la piscine est un plus appréciable par cette chaleur. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet hôtel !
