Looks may be deceiving

Picturesque little spot in the heart of old Batroun. Pros: location, lebanese breakfast included, cheaper price if you book on their website, decor was fantastic. Cons: the host was not the most professional host, didn't respond to emails and insisted the guest house information without mentionning her method was through whatsapp. She attempted to send information on whats app with our temporary lebanese number, there was no account whatsapp attached to the number. Its only upon arrival did we find out she had tried through whatsapp but failed to reach out when it didnt work. Dont expect a reception or host, just servants on site who run the show and barely speak. Dont expect service. The bed in the little catcus was uncomfortable. Plywood bedframe. The renos on the place are stunning but clearly made on a budget.

Le Blue Marlin est un magnifique endroit, et idéalement situé, à 50 mètres de la plage de Bahsa. Beau bâtiment ancien, à la décoration soignée, pleine de charme et d'élégance. Chambre spacieuse et très confortable (la Blue Waves), avec une très jolie terrasse vue sur mer. Bref, l'endroit idéal pour venir se ressourcer à Batroun !
