Lovely location, rooms and buildings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the gardens and park are gorgeous. Welcome and service excellent. We stayed after a visit to Longleat and it was the perfect relaxing stop after a busy day. Only thing that could have made it better would have been if food and drinks were available there in the evening, the cafe closes at 5. We drove to Frome and had an excellent meal in Little Walcot.

Will definitely stay again!

Accommodation was great, couldnt want for anything more. Rowema was an amazing host. Breakfast was high quality and convenient. Hotel is set in beautiful scenery and boasts a fantastic kids play area.

The grounds of the property were lovely and so quiet, perfect for a getaway from all the noise. Lovely staff very helpful and the rooms were very well kept, nice big comfortable bed. Definitely coming back at some point

Just lovely

Loved our stay at the Lighthouse. We arrived rather late after a full day at Longleat, but it was easy to find and had plenty of parking. Check in was friendly and the room was lovely and impeccably clean. Breakfast was tasty and my gluten/dairy free husband was well catered for and my son couldn’t wait to try out the play area! Just a lovely stay all round. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again the next time we visit the area.

Nice stay

Good hotel room with kettle , tea / coffee facility. Good toilet amenities. Water bottles provided. Bed mattresses a bit on the softer side which some may prefer. Very good breakfast. Could do with some croissants, muffins but had a pancake machine.

Set in beautiful grounds although we did not get to venture out as time of year with weather. Greeted efficiently by rowena and shown around. Bedroom was beautiful and spacious with everything you needed. Breakfast was sufficient and we enjoyed the mixture of cooked and buffet style. Nothing was too much trouble at all. Looking forward to staying again. Simon very accommodating and pleasant at breakfast time.

The lighthouse is a lovely large bed and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Rowena who was so helpful and friendly!! The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed walks with our Labrador in the sunshine. The Decor of the rooms is lovely and so clean and modern. Loved the gold shower room, felt very upmarket hotel rather than a B&B! Our one criticism is that the room was super small, and we hardly had room for our dog plus luggage. It was also very hot despite the velux window being open and a fan. It would be beneficial if there was air conditioning units fitted in the stables rooms for added comfort.
