"We absolutely loved staying here. The overwater bungalows were so enjoyable to experience. The staff was very attentive and are fluent in English. Being able to swim in the water, enjoy all the wildlife, paddle boarding, and kayaking will give us plenty to do while we stayed there and the water taxis were very easy to get the staff can even help you get one if needed."
"Just returned from a fantastic 3 nights at Casa Cayuco with our family of 5. Everything, from the welcome and transfers, to the smoothies/drinks, fresh made meals with local ingredients, to the excursions far exceeded our expectations. We are a mixed Panamanian-American family, and Casa Cayuco allowed us to introduce our children to the most beautiful parts of this country. I have been to Bocas Del Toro several times, but Casa Cayuco has the strongest relationship with its indigenous neighbors of any property I have previously stayed at. We definitely plan to return. "
"A beautiful, comfortable, and modern place in the heart of the jungle, perfect for truly disconnecting and recharging. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the excellent food and drinks at Selva. Special thanks to Lea and the entire team for their genuine care and attentive service, which made our stay truly special."
"The property itself is beautiful - quiet, peaceful, and perfect if you’re looking to relax and disconnect a bit. The room was in great shape and very comfortable.
There's no direct beach access from the hotel, but right out front you'll find a surf spot. Even if you don't surf, watching the surfers battle the waves is oddly entertaining and a great way to spend time doing nothing (in the best way).
The hotel offers a shuttle to a lovely sandy beach, which is a nice touch. Just a heads-up: the waves can be pretty intense, so swimming is mostly for the brave, the confident, or the slightly reckless.
Last but definitely not least - the staff. Seriously amazing. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind."
"We received a room upgrade due to being assigned the wrong room upon arrival. The room was brand new and large with a comfortable bed and huge bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant meals were excellent with good portions. And the pool with the swim up bar was a welcome treat.
portions. "
"This lodge is far more than a hotel. It is an experience. They take excellent care of you. The food is amazing and the details in preperation is top quality. My spouse and I enjoyed the realxed atmosphere but also the activities. We went on the wildlife tour, the bat caves and snorkeling (arranged by La Loma). All were fun. Be aware that you are in the jungle with jungle noises at night and no walls. After the first night, we got used to the sounds and actually found them soothing. From the cocao tea and muffins at your door before you wake, to the incredible sunsets from the dining room, it is an excellentexperience. I'm sad we had to leave.

"We had an amazing stay at Coral Bay Bungalows. The setting is absolutely stunning – waking up over the water, with nothing but the sound of the sea and the jungle around you, feels like a dream. The bungalows are beautifully designed, very comfortable, and you can tell a lot of care went into every detail.
What really sets this place apart is the hospitality. The team (and owners) are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure you have a great experience. From helping arrange boat transfers and activities to sharing local tips, we always felt very well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and having easy access to the water for kayaking and paddleboarding right from the property was a huge plus.
If you are looking for a peaceful, intimate, and special place to stay in Bocas del Toro, we can’t recommend Coral Bay Bungalows enough. We left already talking about when we might come back. ❤️"
