I accept most of the responsibility, but I wish I would have received a warning e-mail for not checking in the day before. "The location was a 12ish minute walk from the train station. The listing didn’t have many photos so we didn’t really know what to expect but it was a room with beds. The bathroom door didn’t latch closed. There was an outdoor space in the back that was a nice addition to hang out in though."

"Excellent communication from start to finish With map and tram details to get to apartment. In a great location 2 minute walk to lake and a lovely 15 minute stroll to centre or a tram just outside. Room had everything you needed and got cleaned within our stay which doesnt normally happen in an apartment. Staff were friendly and when my travel plug didn’t work they were on hand with a spare which I could keep for whole of trip. If we ever visit Zurich again I would definitely stay here."

"Property spotless and clean. Free use of Laundry facilities and 2 min walk to supermarket. The only downside was that there is no air con ( knew this at time of booking ) A fan is provided which would be sufficient for normal summer heat but unfortunately we booked during a heatwave. Also there is construction work going on next to the apartments and they start work early. That’s ok though if you are not planning on lying in of a morning."

"The room would have been decent if it weren’t for the leaking air conditioning, broken door handle, lack of WiFi and no curtains. There is no reception or help available at the property, and to get in contact with the host you need to call a Swiss number (which simply is not possible with my phone plan and would have been expensive either way). Upon talking to some other guests, the WiFi had been out of service for multiple days. Would not recommend."

"Do not stay here. Simple as that. We have just had two nightmare nights. No air con and they do not tell you that there is a nightclub around the corner that thumps music until 2am with people congregating outside the property until 5am so cannot open windows as was so loud even with ear plugs still could not sleep. "Pretty far from everything. Smell of cigarettes in the building everywhere. If you smoke it’s great I’d assume but I personally can’t handle the smell… especially when trying to sleep. Otherwise beds were amazing 10/10 the showers super clean and very nice! Just wish someone would be more strict about cigarette usage."
