"There is a serious need for improvement in the breakfast menu. I came downstairs twice for breakfast, but the menu appeared to cater primarily to individuals over 60 years of age and did not offer enough variety. Expanding the selection with more diverse and appealing options would better meet the needs and preferences of a broader range of guests and improve overall meal satisfaction."
"Hampton Inns are our go-to places to stay when we travel in the US. This one is excellent…not fancy but clean and modern. The folks at the front desk are friendly and efficient, eager to make check-in easy. And they follow up to make sure everything is satisfactory."
Publick House Historic Inn and Country Motor Lodge

"The check-in staff was not particularly helpful upon arrival. I was not provided with directions to my room, information regarding the complimentary pastries and coffee, or any notice that two weddings were taking place on the property during my stay, which resulted in a higher level of noise than expected. In retrospect, this may have contributed to the lower room rate.
The restaurant was satisfactory, and I especially appreciated that gluten-free bread was available.
The bed in the main house was very comfortable and contributed positively to the overall stay. One suggestion for improvement would be to install less transparent bathroom curtains, as visibility through them can compromise privacy."
"Very clean and recently updated and renovated. Small, older classic motel rooms but clean and everything worked well. My only complaint was thin walls where by I heard two TV's, (one on each side) well past midnight. Ended up going to sleep with noise cancelling headphones on. Also, the "staff" with whom I checked in were an elderly Indian couple, who were pleasant and professional, but who were very difficult to communicate with due to accent/language differences. Nothing was a deal breaker, I would likely return if in that area again."
