Very friendly and well managed guest house. Comfortable, clean, and under the management of a fantastic couple, Malik and Shona, who gave us all the best local knowledge on where to visit, where to eat, and how to make to most of our fabulous trip to west Wales.
What a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment
The hotel was clean, bed extremely comfortable, hosts very friendly. Only problem for me was that we were on the top floor and I have problems with my hips. Next stay will definitely be on a lower floor.
The owners were friendly nothing any trouble. They also run a indian restaurant in the town, food was amazing. Our overall stay was the best from start to finish. Thank you x
Shona and Basha made our stay very comfortable and couldnt have helped us feel more welcome. Lovely couple would highly recommend staying her and eating at the Saffron resturant in Barmouth for a beautiful meal.
Short (1 week) stay for myself so stayed in a single room. Room was perfect for my stay and very comfortable. The hotel was also very quiet which was also a benefit.
Absolutely perfect, the rooms are spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot but the main thing was the owner and her family and friends, I had an accident on my bike during the day and unbeknown to me had concussion, without question we were invited to join the owner in their area later that evening to wait for an ambulance, my friends and myself were made to feel at home even to the point of making me hot chocolate, it felt like we'd known them for years, above and beyond what they needed to do and for that they have my utmost thanks .
I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Seascape again hopefully next time I'll be a bit safer out 😁
5 stars without hesitation.
I love Barmouth and usually go about twice a year. For this trip I travelled solo and stayed in a single room (I’d stayed previously when Seascape was under previous management).
Room was perfect for my needs: just a place to sleep and chill out for an hour or two during the day between meals and beach walks. The room is compact but well appointed and cleaned to a high standard. The room also boasts a beautiful view of the beach and sea. Regardless of the weather it’s a real joy to have a view like this first thing in the morning when waking up.
New owner is lovely, very friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be staying again and highly recommend Seascape.

clean tidy house.
Nice, clean room. view of sea. disappointed that there was not a shower mat in the shower. health & safety risk. weather not so good. owner friendly & helpful on arrival. light above bed not working. another disappointment.
Bed was a bit springy .. ie made a few noises, but generally comfy.
Everything seems very clean and booking in was a good experience.
I would stay again.
What’s not to love at this Guest House. Parking right outside either in one of the 2 parking spaces or ample on road free parking.
We had room number 3 up about 20 stairs a large double room with a view of the sea. We had kettle coffee & tea (with extras in the porch if needed) biscuits & water. We had a fridge, wardrobe and draws. Big TV on the wall and a clean comfy double bed.
The shower was great
I loved the chairs in the bay window looking out to sea
We stayed during Storm Amy and the room was still very cosy ( a bit warm for me as the heating was on when we landed )
We were within 5 mins walk to places to eat and the train station. Iceland, Co op and town centre less than 10 mins walk.
I booked this guesthouse so we could visit Portmerrion which we ended up getting to the train to. I’d definitely recommend a visit. Train cost about £13 return for the two of us.
I’d definitely stay again.
Reasonably priced and great location. Ian and Sue were very helpful and the room was very clean. One downside was parking. There are only two spaces for the whole guest house. When they are full there is very limited parking on the road which fills up quickly. The car park opposite charges £11.80per night for overnight parking.
Weather wasn’t too good, a bit cooler than I expected, room good, clean, unfortunately I’ve got room in the top of house, which with my poorly leg was a bit hard to forse all the steps, there is no lift,
No breakfast available in the property 😢
