The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a kitchen and some necessary utensils, which made it feel like a home away from home. The receptionist staff were helpful. The location is excellent - just a short walk from train station, the Shambles, York Minster and many other attractions. Everything is easily walkable, which made exploring the city very convenient. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting York! "

"The property was smelly,dirty and dusty. The area was rough. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property. "

"Very comfortable unit in a country setting away from the congestion of York. The only negative point was that the WIFI was weak in the unit we were in. Nice, historical location. "

"We have stayed here many times with my husbands business trips and it never fails to disappoint. The staff are so friendly and will do anything g they can to help. the rooms have recently been refurbished and they are really beautiful, to think this hotel room is as the same price as the premier inn, it’s really a no brainer! Stay here it won’t disappoint . "

"Only stayed the one night but the staff were very friendly and efficient, they helped us check baggage before and after check out so they were could explore the city without carting around unnecessary luggage. The room itself was clean and nice decorated, the bed was perhaps a little on the soft side which may be an issue for some but we found it perfectly fine. The shower was great and the room temperature controlled was fantastic given it was quite a warm sticky day outside and I've seen other hotels in the area resort to loud portable Aircon units in an effort to keep the rooms at an acceptable level but here the integrated air was efficient and quiet. Overall a very enjoyable, if quick stay, that I would be happy to do again. "
