"I love the fact that this is a Christian founded campground where the hotel does not promote drinking alcoholic beverages. The hotel rooms are very small but comfortable for one person. The shower is about 3 ft by 3 ft. Not recommend for a large person. If you arrive early, don't worry, there are courtesy lockers to store your luggage while you explore the island. The front porches are very inviting and perfect for reading a book. The hotel does not offer complimentary snacks. However, there are many places to eat within walking distance, and the food is good everywhere. There are plenty of shops and a local post office if needed. I highly recommend this hotel if you're not on a budget."

"We came to the hotel on the recommendation of a friend and we were pleased with our stay. The hotel is so charming, unlike chain hotels. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. We had a great view and were steps from restaurants, the beach and an ice cream shop.Newport was a quick drive and the Cliff Walk was minutes away. I would definitely return."

"Great location - in walking distance to ferry. Nice, small private beach. Very small, minimalist rooms that are good for a short stay on the island. Updated furnishings but still an older motel - rooms have a smell; step back from the shower water when someone flushes the toilet or you get scolding hot water, etc."
