Hotel murah di Barfleur

"En fait ce n'est pas ue maison d'hote, plus un établissement public comme un endroit ou dormir pour un college par exemple. A contrario, tres belle architecture exterieure et tres beau jardin. Dommage que ce soit ausssi froid, impersonnel et cheap"

"We arrived late and there was nobody to check us in. We tried calling the number on the gate, but this wasn't answered and afterward the phone was switched off. There is a lack of communication and the photo's on Expedia do not represent the poor state of the hotel. We will not book this again"

"Don't be put off by the 2☆ rating. This wee hotel is good. The staff are friendly, maid service prompt and efficient and location is excellent. Pretty much central in town and lot's of cafes and restaurant's on the doorstep. The rooms are clean and spacious, however a little outdated. I have stayed in 4☆'s that were worse though..The bed is comfortable. Negatives are over the weekend it gets noisy from midnight until around 3/4am due to proximity of late opening bars. Not a big issue though.....

J’avais pourtant demandé une chambre supérieure, mais on m’a attribué une chambre en rez-de-chaussée qui ressemblait à une catégorie économique oubliée des années 70 : odeur d’humidité persistante, salle de bain minuscule et dans son jus, serviettes d’entrée de gamme. Pas d’acceuil. Pour un établissement noté au-dessus de 9/10, je m’attendais à tout autre chose. Il y a manifestement un décalage entre la réputation en ligne et la réalité sur place."

Only issue was that we had no hot water to shower the morning we left, which ironically enough is exactly why we booked them because of a hot water issue at another facility. As we left they told us it was fixed and we could use it but we were already packed up and had plans/timetables for the day. Otherwise it was a great place to stay."
