A quirky but stylish interior not only of the reception, restaurant & bar, but also my individualised room. The hotel has it's own personality!

Great little stopover
We really enjoyed this campsite as a stopover to lake Annecy and a visit to Nigloland which was fab. The rulotte was cute and comfortable, enjoyed the private outside space. Campsite felt safe and my boys enjoyed being able to pop to the trampolines whilst we enjoyed a drink on the bar terrace. Swimming pool was warm and a hit too! Delivery breakfast seemed expensive but there was loads and lasted us a couple of days. Would definitely use again.

We liked the quirky accommodation, it has everything you need, although self catering is limited as there is just a microwave. Caravan format was nice, all clean, but felt dated and the steps needed replacing. Office had a cafe, so breakfast was good (apart from the coffee). Overall good value and an ideal stop for a roadtrip south.

Lovely way to break up the journey through france.
Very friendly welcome and the site itself was a great place to stay. Safe for the kids and lots of things to do. The caravan was comfortable and spacious and it was nice to wake up to birdsong and trees! Very close to Nigloland where we spent two days.

Very nice campsite!
We had a great time. It is a really nice campsite. We were in one of the cabins and loved our little family space. It is a beautiful area, clean fresh air, some picturesque landscapes just down the road for a nice photo near the river.

Quirky caravans
We stayed at Les Roulottes de la Champagne for 4 nights this August. What a lovely little site. We were all really excited to see the quirky caravan we'd be staying in and we weren't disappointed. How cute! It was amazing how much can fit into what looks like a relatively small space, a tardis! The beds were comfy and we had a lovely little area outside for eating and drying washing etc The children really loved the pool and trampoline area and a nice touch is the fact that there are bikes & trikes which are available for anyone to use at no extra charge. The couple on reception were very helpful and friendly. You can order breakfast baguettes/croissants etc from reception for morning collection which was handy on the first day before we'd had chance to get out bearings. The area is nice although we didn't spend too much time actually in Bar sur Aube. We had a trip to Troyes and found a lovely lake beech about 10 minutes drive away in Dienville. The one thing I would say is that it felt a little like somewhere people stay as a stop over en route somewhere else rather than a destination in it's own right. We would stay here again if we're in the region.

Lovely stop over sight when touring France
This is a lovely site great for the couple of nights we stayed. The pool, free bikes and archery set went down well with the kids too.

lovely stay
Only stayed one night on way back to UK. The accommodation was lovely and so was the breakfast. The 11.00am checkout was good and even managed a swim before we left. The location wasn't what we had expected, ie next to a residential area, but it was actually very quiet so didn't really matter. Would definitely recommendand hope to return for longer.

Great stop over on way to/from calais
Nice alternative from a bland hotel stop over. Nicely laid out, small, personal site with gypsy caravans and pods. Small pool and kids play area with trampoline perfect for younger children. 10 min walk into the village which is fairly unremarkable but has everything you need.

Perfect camping stop-over
We stayed 2 nights with our 2 kids, as a stop-over to Liguria. The place has barbeque, swimming pool, internet, clean premises, next to big supermarket. The staff spoke English and were very nice. It was perfect for us.

Very cosy and different!
Lovely cosy little place. Seems a little 'unfinished', but they're heading in the right direction. Keys were left out for us as we arrived late in the evening. Would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Good price in the heart of woodland.
Emplacements a little too close to each other. Accomodation basic, but it is a caravan. Heated pool on site. A little too cool to be comforatble. It was a cold snap in October. Caravans are heated by electicity, which is a lille noisy. Easily enough room for a couple, but too compact for a family. Shame the weather wasn't better. I think that would have changed our impression. Location in a village with all the facilities expected.

Strange atmosphere, unfriendly cleaning staff
Arrived at 2pm having seen that we could check in from noon, but reception was closed until 4pm. Found two cleaners when we arrived but one was very rude and said to her colleague in French that they weren't receptionists and it wasn't there job to help me. Judging by the way she spoke she obviously didn't realise I was fluent in French and didn't expect me to understand. Generally very strange and slightly creepy atmosphere on site. Caravan wasn't very clean. Was quite relieved to leave the site the next day! We won't be returning.

Perfect spot for a short stop over.
Unusual caravan accommodation. Nice quiet site. The play area could have been more extensive with an area for bigger children (age 5-10). It would have been useful to have a shop on site with a more extensive range of products to buy (e.g when arriving on a sunday). Large supermarket conveniently located 5 mins away. Pool was nice with plenty of loungers. Not a lot of places to see nearby so is definitely a passing through place.

Nice place!
Nice original place to stay in. Friendly staff running the place. Floors of the cars squeek however, and the swimming pool could have been open for longer. The cars you stay in are a little small for a family of 5, but we luckily were outside the full due with the lovely weather.

Different :) o/night stopover.
This was a fantastic (summer) alternative to our usual BB/Campanile mid France overnight stopover. Super welcome, modern facilities in the "gypsy caravan" and a few nice ice cold bieres before dinner in town.

A really lovely place for families to stay...
I stayed here as a stop over on the way to and from the south of France with my husband and 3 young sons in a caravan and we all had a really excellent time, much more exciting than a hotel! There is a great park for the kids to run off steam, swimming pool and trampoline. Oh and not forgetting the horse and goat who my children loved to see. The staff are really friendly, helpful and there is an option to have breakfast, which I would recommend. I can't rate it highly enough, especially for families, we would definitely come back.

Nothing but nice things to say.
We stayed overnight on the way to the Alps. The kids loved it here. The caravans are perfect for a family of 5. It's a bit off the motorway but the staff went out of their way to leave us keys and make sure we could check in after 10. Thanks for everything.
