Highly recommend the trip to get to Nusa Bay to see a lot of Bali. If you have a driver, ask for stops at waterfalls and traditional coffee and tea makers to experience more of the mountains between Ubud and West Bali National Park. "The Menjangan is a beautiful resort in the West Bali Barat National Park. It is spread out over a large area with open top mini buses traveling between the various parts available at any time on request. Our poolside room was large and beautifully styled. The two restaurants offer lovely meals and the staff are super polite and friendly. The number of rooms and guests is relatively small so it is never crowded. "Room not very clean, but bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Easy access to beach and pool. But far from city center. Breakfast was good, available at 6:00. But coffee tasted like chicory, not good."

"Schöne Anlage im balinesischen Stil, direkt am Meer gelegen. Die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten war unübertrefflich. Am meisten mochte ich, dass es ein "day bed" auf der Terrasse und eines im Zimmer gab, so konnte man beim Ein dunkeln den Moskitos entkommen und trotzdem gemütlich entspannen. Das Restaurant - direkt am Strand gelegen - servierte einheimische und internationale Küche, die vorzüglich war.
