The property itself is new building in the middle of old residential area, off tourist area. Hotel is clean, minimalist style. The train station is in walking distance from the property. Staff were friendly.

10% surcharge took me by surprise

This place is like a hidden gem in the middle of bustling Bangkok. Although not a luxurious hotel, the courtyard is a typical luxuriant veranda commonly seen in holiday resorts. Next to it is a trendy bar having a European outlook. Besides these features, the hotel is clean and geographically efficient. However, they charge international visitors a 10% surcharge on the booking rate if paid by credit card, which honestly took me by surprise without notice, and this can be its downside.

My parents and I booked 4 nights at the Bangkok Oasis Hotel and we enjoyed meeting the staff as they were super polite, friendly, welcoming and helpful during this stay. They even assist you with booking rides to anywhere you need to go. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel but it can get loud and noisy at night as the rooms are not soundproof. We booked the family room and found that the beds, including the bunk beds were good and comfortable. The only downside to this hotel would be that it is not walkable to shopping malls like MBK as there are no side walks but it is nearby. So we had to order grabs and could not walk as desired as it was very difficult to walk to and from the hotel. I also wish they provided complimentary coffee in the rooms as it is a necessity on vacations and not just water. I found that it was strange that they have a water boiling pot but no coffee or tea provided. Overall, I would give this hotel stay 4/5 stars despite the inconveniences. Thank you Bangkok Oasis.

This place was an absolute delight. A large, comfortable room with a serene hideaway amongst the hustle and bustle. It was close enough to everything, and we walked to the train station during the day and late at night and never felt unsafe. I LOVED this hotel.
