"This is a gem of a hotel. The location is at the far end of the town (but still only a six-minute walk from the main gate). We had our own balcony with a lovely view of the wall and sea. The staff was very helpful in scheduling our ride back to Athens. The breakfast was excellent. "

"We had wonderful hosts! The hotel was quiet and beautiful, the restaurant had amazing food, and the rooms are comfortable. The staff on the the part that made our time here memorable: From the sommelier who helped us pick our wines, to the descriptions of the oil and helps electing our varieties (I wish we would've had time to schedule tastings for both), and to Vanna who was a lovely host and gave us so much helpful information for greece both locally and in the islands. I am so glad I found this hotel and we got to enjoy it, it's history. We will be back!"

"The hotel room was very clean with tea and coffee making TV balcony overlooking the sea and en suite. The receptionist was èxrremely helpful. There is plenty of street parking and ifs only 50 yds to the veach or the shuttle bus to Monemvasia island. There are lots of dhops and restaurants very close by includihg the Aktion under the same ownership abd serving very good dinners of traditional Greek food. Breafast is 10 euro pp. and is taken in the cafe attached to the hotel. It is buffet style with a tremendous choice."

"View was fantastic! Slept well in a very comfortable bed. Room and bathroom were clean. Room was on the ground floor with courtyard. Was able to open back door and walk to fortress wall for spectator view. Next visit plan to try an upper floor room. "

"This was a real highlight of our vacation. Someone came to greet us at the entrance to the walled city and helped us carry our bags. We were all so impressed when we arrived at our little courtyard in what the kids thought was like a hobbit home. Inside was even better. Everything was clean and tidy and we were left with a bottle of local wine which was really tasty. There was a nespresso coffee machine and pods as well so we were very happy! The location was perfect, just a 1 min walk to wine tasting and great coffee shops and restaurants. We loved this place and would definitely recommend and come back."
