"I could go for another night. Great hotel. Staff were super pleasant and helpful. The room was very very spacious and comfortable; they basically thought of everything and provided little extras that make traveling so much more comfortable. A little dining table, lots of extra coffee and tea and a coffee machine, a super comfortable bed, nice towels that are fluffy and not cheap, brand name really nice toiletries. There's a really nice entry way layout and very large bathroom with separate tub and shower, that are both placed next to the public hallway- it's great for separating any noise from the hallway into the main sleeping area. The pool/spa area that is completely free and open until 10pm is also really nice. There's a very large Jacuzzi pool outside facing the river and view, and realty nice sauna, steam room and whirlpool. All in all, totally fantastic hotel. Well above the rest in Cork, and fantastically peaceful and quiet, while still being only a 15-20 minute walk right into the very center of the action. 10/10."

"This is an older Hotel with a nice charm and history to it. Its in a great location. Great safe, free parking on street outside. Staff are excellent, responsive, friendly and take iniative to help you have a good experience. Lift is small and access into the hotel for wheel chair or childs buggy is difficult/ almost impossible...big steps at entrance & no ramp.This is a weak point. Food in hotel is good. Good chef. Water in showerwas not constant hot, would move to just warm quickly. But overall we enjoyed our stay. I think their staff is their biggest assesst. I had my 10mth old baby with me and they were so helpful"

"A fantastic boutique hotel situated right in the middle of a thriving community of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. Bedroom was at front of hotel but we had absolutely no bother from noise due to extra double-glazing. Hotel is perfectly situated to explore the beautiful city of Cork. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful."

"One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had (and I do stay at 5-star places regularly). Spacious and clean room with great lighting and chairs and windows that open, and hooks, and big bottles of filtered water. Great food. The warmest, most welcoming staff ever, with sharp competent energy all of them, who never looked like they didn't want me to approach but instead were relaxed and made eye contact readily and seemed genuinely pleased to see me. I said once "I want to live here" and she said "we would love to have you" -- untrue I'm sure but SO KIND! Lovely garden, and many places to sit and relax and read and have tea. I genuinely cannot gush enough. Liam helped me hire a driver for a wonderful day out -- he is a treasure. THANK YOU HAYFIELD MANOR. I'll be back someday."

"There are two Maldrons in Cork. I booked the wrong one. Once noticed the front desk staff was so helpful and contacted the other and got us switched seamlessly. I did not have to do any leg work. Both locations were beautiful and in convenient locations."
