"Stayed here while we were attending a wedding close by. Staff were excellent, when we came to check in to the hotel we asked if we could get a taxi booked to go back to the wedding venue - without hesitation the lovely lady said she would take us back. We went to the bar had a drink while we were waiting and the bar man asked if we were going back to the wedding venue and we said yes he said come on ahead I will leave yous back. "The hosts were very friendly and welcoming to our family of six. We rented the larger family suite and everyone was comfortable. The Lodge itself is unique and has great character. Bertie was great with our daughters and made them pancakes with sprinkles 😌. Both hosts were very helpful recommending restaurants and attractions in the area and answered any questions we had. Very personable and we felt right at home there for our 2 nights. Highly recommend!"
