"This was the perfect hotel to get over jetlag and start exploring Belfast. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was quite nice and included a buffet as well as eggs to order. I appreciated that the hotel provided parking, and the location was incredible. This hotel was a very good value for the price. The Tara Lodge exceeded my expectations and was an excellent start to a wonderful holiday in Ireland. I would definitely stay here again given the chance. "

"20 mins walk to the city centre..The area where this is located is so run down and this building is one of the few which is not boarded off ,but there is a Holidayinn just opposite. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. There was not much noise even with close proximity to the main road..The bathroom was not as clean with @#£/ stains on the wall and my bad luck decided to take the toilet brush to clean the toilet. "My daughter and I stayed at the hotel on a day trip to Belfast, and I will not stay at another hotel anytime I'm in the city. What an experience! The location, solid. The staff, superb. "What a great place to stay!! It was excellent in every way. The beds were comfortable, and it was great to have separate rooms. The kitchen was very handy and the laundry was most welcome, so we could move on with all clean clothes. The location worked out really well for us, it was a short walk to buses that were easy to navigate to get into the city. I have to admit it was much better than I was expecting. "Everyone was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. We paid for dinner for 2 and breakfast for 2 during the stay. The first night, our flight was delayed, putting us close to restaurant closing time, but they were very accommodating and it all worked out well. We enjoyed the dinner food and the breakfast buffet was excellent."

"Was due to stay here last week, but due to a very unexpected death in the family, on the day we were due to stay, we were obviously unable to make it. Rang to explain the situation to change the date of stay to another month, got asked to sign up a members club? Went online to webchat, was told first yes I can move the date for free, then told minutes later I had to pay £150, which was more money than rebooking! Not helpful at all in situations like this. "
