"A beautifully renovated barn with all the charm. We had a wonderful stay with our two young children and dog. Every aspect of the stay was brilliant. The barn was toasty warm, the kitchen stocked with all appliances, the beds comfy and the lounging area relaxing. There is also a great sustainable ethos with the stay. The host was super friendly and knowledgable about the local area. I highly recommend and we will be going again."

"Great location, nicely central to all the activities and places the Vosges area has to offer. Beautiful, quiet setting, slightly up the mountainside. The natural landscape all around is breathtaking and the walking, hiking, trekking is as brilliant and varied as it is abundant. And so much of it just outside the front door. "The is an old farm house, well maintained, on a working farm with a rooster, chickens, milk cows and incredible views. This is perfect if you want a stay in the mountains around Colmar and want to enjoy driving the roads and switchbacks around Les Voges and Hautes Rhein regions. The bad reviews are from people who expected a 4 star hotel, with room service, and no rooster to announce dawn in the mornings. "Excellent hotel in the lovely town of Munster. The restaurant is closed on Sundays, when I was there, and there is only one other establishment open in the town that provides a very limited menu on Sundays."

"Stayed here overnight during our journey back home from Italy to Scotland. Lovely hotel, great location in the characterful town of Thann, good parking. Our room was very nice and had good views of the grounds. The bed and bathroom were also good and the level of fittings and fixtures in the room was better than average. We were delighted to discover that we were staying in the same room as occupied by General De Gaulle in 1945! Our dinner in the restaurant was very good and the local wine excellent, however a bit on the expensive side. There is also a very nice resident dog! Breakfast was good with some spectacular pastries but we were a little disappointed not to be served with real coffee but with the usual dispensed from the ubiquitous coffee machine!"

"Our room was very clean and very comfortable. Excellent shower! The hotel is well maintained and staff are helpful. Parking is easy and we noticed security cameras were mounted so felt reassured about the security of our vehicle. We enjoyed dinner one evening at the hotel’s restaurant, lovely staff and the food and wine were great."

"The room was lovely. Balcony was great and enjoyed views of the forrest. The bed was comfortable nd the shower hot and powerful. The hotel was very clean. Some staff were friendly, others not so much. We didn't eat so unable to comment on the food. The pool is very small and crowded with just 3 people in it. The pool room is claustrophobic and way to warm to sit in. Signage instructed guests not to open the door so not pleasant to use."
