"I was looking for a family friendly weekend getaway and Amber Springs came highly reccommended. It did not disappoint. My 1 year-old had a blast and me and my partner got to actually relax and not feel apologetic because of a crying baby in restaurants. Food was surprisingly good and all the staff was so friendly and nice. We also had a lot of fun doing archery. The train wasn't a hit, my little guy was too young to enjoy, but other kids (prob 3 to 5 yo) seemed to have fun. We'll definitely go back!"

"It’s a lovely hotel, very comfortable, it reminded me of one of the old Irish railway hotels. ( My father worked for them so I stayed in a lot) Great breakfast, beautifully presented. The salmon and Scrambled eggs were excellent and the poached eggs too. Our thanks to the chef. Super friendly staff, Arran? was great. We were given a cocktail in the lovely bar, which was a nice treat. There was nice music in the bar, Only teeny wobble was our room looked as if the cleaner hadn’t finished, or had been called away. Hotel very central, super close to Kilkenny Castle, but very quiet. "

"The building is beautiful inside and out and is on a gorgeous vast property. Our room was very large and well appointed and clean. The staff were wonderful and the restaurants and bars were fantastic. We highly recommend this property!!"
