"What a fabby wee place to stay. It was perfect. Well equipped, comfortable, clean, spacious & quiet. Was literally everything we were looking for. The log fired hot tub was brilliant. "Very spacious, oven and dishwasher were great. We chose this specifically bc it had a laundry washer. Being from the US, just assumed it meant there was a dryer also (my mistake!). But there is a clothes line and clothes pins- just don’t leave it out overnight bc it rains! Beds were very comfortable and large! Only thing to be ware of- the shower sometimes went from hot to cold rapidly (back and forth between freezing and scalding hot). First three people to shower were fine but by the 4th, it...

"Wonderful house. I have had many visits to Nairn over the years and this is my #1 for Accommodation. Whole house was immaculate. Location right in the heart of everything yet peaceful right beside the river. Very generous welcome pack too. We booked again for 2026 as soon as we arrived. "

"Stayed for two nights with breakfast included. Had dinner on first night. Very nice. Breakfast on both days was ideal. All staff friendly and efficient."

"What an absolutely beautiful place! We loved our room; it had so much character. We appreciated the kettle and coffee/tea in the room, the included breakfast; the restaurant on site, the wifi and the available parking. The grounds are also beautiful; you can sit at the tables along the river and admire the castle-like building. I wish we could have stayed longer. "

"A wonderful restoration of an old hotel that has kept all the grandeur while updating for all of the modern conveniences. The staff was our favorite part, they were all super nice and helpful from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant. Twin room was very spacious and beds comfortable, the sound proofing between rooms was the only thing that was anything less than 10 but the noisemaker on my phone was all that was needed to drown out any noises. Wished we could have stayed longer to do one of the guided walks as we met one of the guides who went out her way to print out directions to a loch great for bird watching that we could see on our way out of town. "
