"We had a short trip to Ella and booked Hotel Onrock for one night. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill and was a bit tricky to find but once we found it, I could not fault anything about the hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. "Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! De accommodatie was netjes, schoon en groot genoeg voor een gezin. Ook de locatie was ideaal – rustig gelegen, maar toch dicht bij bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en stond altijd klaar voor vragen of tips. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Kortom: een plek waar we ons direct thuis voelden en zeker nog eens zouden terugkomen. Van harte aanbevolen!"

"By far, best place to stay in Sri Lanka! You have your little bungalow in a picturesque area surrounded by rice paddies, gardens, wild life. The pool is amazing, the food outstanding. "This property has such a beautiful view! It is clean, peaceful and safe. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They respondedimmediately to any reques we had. One staff member got up with us at 3:30 in the morning to make sure we safely got on our way for a tour we had booked to Yala. I would stay here again and recommend it highly."

"The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay.
