Sarımsaklı is a town in the Ayvalık District of Balıkesir Province in the Marmara Region of Turkey. The town's name means "land of garlic" in reference to the region's considerable production of the Alliaceae plant.

"The Hotel is beautiful and clean but you have to Drive By car there. If you order a taxi you have to wait 30-40 min. The Food is very good. "The small room has a bed and a small bathroom (shower not separated from the floor). The air conditioning works great. What is special is that "furniture" is part of stone walls. The location is in the city centre, which means it's walkable but also noisy, especially since the windows don't really close."
