Mountains always call for a view such as this one. My trip to Prashar lake in Himachal Pradesh would not have been successful if i wouldn't have experienced this particular sunrise. It was October 2015 and weather as chilled as it could be. I woke up at 5 Am and waited until 6 Am to witness the first sunrise of my life. Yes , it was the first sunrise of my life and how can i forget , how the rays came into being. For a moment i forgot that we were revolving around the sun and not the other way round. #bruisedpassports #BestSunriseEver
This surreal lake at 2700 m is named after the Rishi (sage) who meditated here, the lake is worshipped and revered by the locals. The 'pagoda' temple was built in the 13th century, and offered us blankets and a room for the night's stay. The circular grass mound is a floating island, and the winds move it from one end to the other through the course of the day...to me this alludes to an iris that sees the sky, and the 'eye'-the lake reflecting all it sees. #campingspot #hiking #himalayas #troveon

Very nice property with excellent staff. I have stayed at my hotels in this area but this hotel definitely exceeds expectations. The hotel is situated between beautiful quiet landscape and is walkable from the main Kosol market. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
