"Fantastic hotel. Excellent and friendly team, from check-in to restaurant to cleaning team to spa. You can tell it’s a very good working team. Everyone friendly and always helpful and smiling. Excellent buffet breakfast. Rooms were clean and very well maintained. Quiet peaceful location and 2 mins walk from the sea."
"A modern, clean and unique hotel located on the water, and within a short walk to downtown Rovinj. The staff is superior in all areas of the hotel; front desk, valet, housekeeping and dining room. Exceptional service. The breakfast has a large variety of buffet and/or à la carte items to order. One of the view places we stayed in Croatia that did not charge extra for car parking. Overall, excellent stay for convenience and service. "
"The hotel property sits on a very nice resort like beach front. It’s about 10min drive to the old town. The hotel room was very clean and up to date despite the property is over 30 yrs. The breakfast buffet was ok.
I have to mention that the hotel staff at reception was very friendly, polite and helpful."
"Amazing hotel! There is still some work undergoing at the hotel and not all areas were opened. It has the best reception and amazing hospitality. The issues we had with the booking via Expedia were promptly resolved by the concierge manager Jasmina.
The spa was out of this world with several different saunas. Highly recommended.
The room was well equipped but I think the decor inside of it does not match the beautiful decor in the lobby.
We opted for a half board option. The breakfast options were plentiful. Great juice bar. Dinner options were slightly more limited but that could be down to my personal preferences.
The only downside I found was the parking. Plenty of parking spaces but they there but they were about 5 - 10 min walk away, partially on a gravel road. The hotel golf buggies were there but nobody bothered to offer a lift to the car park.
We did a lot of walking whilst there and were tired at the end of the day. Plus I had to be careful not to ruin my shoes.
It was a minor inconvenience but still something to consider.
I would throughly recommend the hotel and I am already looking to book it again."
"I was incredibly disappointed with my stay here and feel very misled by the information on Expedia. This is advertised as a resort-style hotel off the beaten path. And it kind of is, but nothing is open. I spent five nights and the Burger bar was never open, the coffee shop was never open. All these shops along the main walkway were closed. The restaurant opened at mysterious times. The information on Expedia says there's a buffet style restaurant. There isn't. It says the pool restaurant Oliva serves brunch, lunch, and dinner, but its only open from 12-5, so no brunch and dinner only if you eat dinner before 5pm. There is nothing here. There are no bars, no lobby bars, no pool bars, nobody serving drinks anywhere. At 9pm the resort is empty. There is nothing to do.
The only breakfast option is to go to the OTHER hotel where you can pay 19€ (not 17€ like Expedia says) for access to the buffet. I don't know why breakfast was not included in my booking, but I had to pay.
There is a supermarket and the idea seems to be that you are to buy groceries and cook in your room. I am on vacation and have no interest in cooking. When I spoke to the woman at the front desk she basically confirmed "we are not a hotel, we just rent apartments." I wish Expedia had made that clear so I didn't waste my money and vacation time expecting five nights in a resort.
The bus stop is a 15 minute walk and you need to take the bus 20 minutes into town to actually do anything. Better to book there."
