"So the place does looks nice and the staff is really helpful. But i still had few issues with the room though. First that drawer/fridge is definitely not cold so when i mention it, they did help and got me a mini fridge. Then, after the first night, of not really sleeping, due to the street noise. Definitely not noise proof, windows on the street side should definitely be replaced/fixed!! So, yes, they were helpful the next day to give me another room on the parking lot, so less noisy. (Drawer/fridge still wasn't cold so i brought my mini fridge in the new room.. lol.. ) So yes, stay wasn't bad but i could have done without some inconvenience... "

"Perspective is important here. If you're coming to LA looking for a resort style stay, with fancy amenities and modern looking rooms, this ain't it. If you want a nice stay near enough to Santa Monica or other touristy spots with an AMAZING staff, this place is perfect. The rooms were quite old and in need of much updating, but the location, price, and staff were friendly, responsive, and supportive. We were barely in the hotel beyond sleeping, so this location was close to everything we needed. This hotel is for people that don't mind a more humble stay and are in town to explore, not be in their room. "
