"The hotel is what it is. Nothing fancy at all but definitely does the job and is convenient. Breakfast in the morning is basic but more than suitable. If you can, ask for a room at the back of the hotel away from the road to avoid the road noise if you like to sleep with the window open."

Reliable and easy
"Fantastic as usual. Very reliable, very quiet. Only downside, is that if you are staying on the ground floor facing the car park, others may see you. There is a hedge which prevents this to a small degree. This is a very minor criticism- everything else is perfect, best value for money."

Didn't stay to look. Found another hotel and left. Soooo disappointing. I will be applying for a refund. Aircon that doesn't heat? What a joke!

Location close to family in Royston so didn’t visit Baldock

Its ok if you have a car, Henlow nearby 10/15min drive has a couple of lovely larger pubs, although The Jester has a bar itself and a lovely garden if you do not want to go out. There are a couple of pubs about 10mins walk away.

This little hotel could be so so much better if some money was spent on it , a massive refurbishment is needed in the bedrooms, but you can tell the staff (especially Graham) all love working there & are very loyal as too are the customers
