"Excellent resort. Lots of activities to do for free. Can book the spa jacuzzi and sauna for 45 mins at a time. Definitely plan your meals in advance to reserve at the nice restaurants. Food is excellent everywhere and staff are extremely nice. Highly recommend"

"The staff is excellent and exceptionally helpful. Special thanks to receptionist Dini, buggy driver Sanjeev, trip coordinator Melanie, and the wait staff who remembered everything about us. Met some delightful people. The grounds are lush and beautiful. Temperatures of air and ocean are ideal (Oct.). Caution for those who have difficulty with stairs or long walks. There are workarounds, but they require golf carts (“buggies”) to be called."

"Beautiful setting and landscaping. Staff are brilliant, friendly and attentive and not in your face. Spa was great. Recommend ‘water shoes’ for the beach as it’s a coral beach, it’s beautiful, the shoes will enhance the experience "

"Lost count of how many times we’ve stayed at Salt of Palmar on our visits to Mauritius now. Perfect adult only boutique hotel with beautiful beachfront. The staff and service are just brilliant. They were so helpful. Shout out to the Chef Siva for his kindness to provide some locally made herbal tea for when we were unwell. We’ll be back :)"

"Roons are very clean. If any little thing is wrong it is corrected straight away by housekeeping. Staff in the restaurant are welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Excellent spa, great masseurs Neehar and others. The hotel could think about updating showers and some towels are no longer brilliant white, bit grey, but very clean. The water taxi was not available one day as it was being serviced there is a bridge open in the day by the aquarium. "

"The moment we drove we drove into the property we were greeted & welcomed by Tushtee after our rough start to the day. She was so kind and helpful. It was a breath of fresh air !!! Throughout our stay the housekeeping was exceptional Ronny was cleaning our room for our stay and he went above and beyond and made the stay even better!! If we come back to Mauritius we will definitely stay at this resort because of their service!!"

"We had the most wonderful stay at Long Beach Resort! The staff went above and beyond – they were always so friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Our family suite was absolutely beautiful – spotless, spacious, and perfectly designed for a family stay. The resort itself was immaculate, with every facility kept clean and well-maintained. A highlight for our children was the Kids Club – they absolutely loved it! The staff there were warm, welcoming, and so attentive to the kids. Dining at the resort was another incredible experience. Every restaurant we tried offered delicious food with a great variety, making every meal something to look forward to. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. "Lux Belle Mare was just simply amazing and perfect!! All levels of staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you! The food choices were really great and so many options for different cuisines. Chefs at each counter were really friendly and would make fresh pancakes or naan bread for you. We also dined at Amari by Chef Vineet Bhatia and this was also really great and so worth the visit! The beach was absolutely beautiful too, white sandy beach with lots of loungers. However the swimming pool would have been great with more loungers. We were celebrating our pearl anniversary and they gave us a few different treats that made it all feel very special. Would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel! Thank you to everyone at the Lux Belle Mare!"
