Little bit hard to cross roads around the hotel :-) Otherwise it is well situated near to the convention centre. Staff is helpful and friendly and the whole stay was nice and calm.

Foreigners beware, I left my stay feeing cheated and disrespected. I felt cheated because an employee led me to a change-making machine on site that stole my money. Every day the employee said he would get my money back the next day, but then I had to leave. I thought it was a machine error, but then I saw him doing the same to another guest. I had an associate call back to inquire and the employee said they wouldn't do anything else and hung up. I found out this is called the 'Guided ATM Scam' and this hotel is known for it. I felt disrespected because I asked the night employee if he knew of a place to eat nearby as it was after midnight. He said "use an application." I was confused and inquired again to a similar response. It was the first time I ever asked a hotel desk for help only to be told "look it up yourself." I paid extra for a junior suite that was advertised as 1 bedroom. It didn't have a bedroom, it was a regular room that was slightly larger with a sofa and table. The breakfast buffet was identical every day, and of low quality. We paid for 10 breakfasts but only had 3, I prefered to go without eating or go out to eat than eat this poor food again. The location is too far for most to walk downtown or to the metro, so you will have to rely on bolt/cabs everywhere. The positives were the cleaning staff and the breakfast staff that greeted me with smiles daily and were patient with my attempts at Azerbaijani. I cannot recommend this hotel for foreigners.
