"We stayed in one of the small houses for two nights in April 2026. We had two beautiful days/nights. The radiant floors were a standout. The house faces west, which huge picture windows to the west and north. During the first night, we happened to catch a quick showing of northern lights. "Excellent central location close to the shops, bars, restaurants etc. Well equipped kitchen and cooking facilities. Comfy lounge area and beds. Perfect apartment for a short stay, really enjoyed staying here and the close proximity to all amenities. Really appreciated the earlier check in as our flight arrived in the morning and we were able to get into the apartment from midday which was great. I’m hoping to revisit Akureyri and will definitely be looking to book Saga Apartments again! Thanks...

"They had forgotten to send me check in instructions, but the host responded very quickly when I reached out. There’s only street parking available, but that’s pretty common in this area. Overall, the place was cute and clean. If you’re picking it just for the laundry though, don’t…. It’s one of the eco-friendly ones and my laundry took about seven hours for half a load. "
