I was here in the rainy season, so you can hear the stream as a steady sound. When the rains come in the afternoon it’s runs pretty quickly. "My 12 year old daughter and I had a very comfortable stay. The room was basic but good. The grounds were beautiful -- I'd never seen a hummingbird in person before! The service at the front desk & at the restaurant are prefect: helpful, friendly, & enthusiastic. Taxi rides from the hotel to a variety of destinations are easy to get & inexpensive. I had a cabin with a balcony. It felt like a cabin in the mountains but with strong hot water in the shower. "

"It was a great stay, good value rooms and great location next to The Rock. The room with a loft is good for families, but can be complicated with small children (younger than 6). Not enough room to comfortable store clothes (would have been tight even for 2 in a room with a King bed and two twins in the loft), so would more closet space. We enjoyed the common living room and being able to walk to The Rock (its the same property, but building next door)."

"I have mixed feeling about this place. I have to give low scores to cleanliness and services because the toilet was yellowish. This should be a big no!no! to any guests. It took us almost 14 hours to get instructions to use wifi and drinking water situation. The restaurant experience at La Rosa, however, was very pleasant. Food was delicious and never failed to impress us. Staff were very accommodating. View there was amazing!"
