"The staff was very helpful. I lost my wallet (left it on top bunk, too high to see) and it was held for me and I retrieved it with $ in tact. They do not answer the phone which cost me a day of angst as to where my wallet had gone missing, but all's well that ends well."

"Mosquitoes. Lots of them in our room! No hand or face towels. Just 3 in 1 pump soap, that's the only amenity. No refrigerator. Breakfast is very basic but the coffee was decent. Beds were fairly comfortable."

"It’s a hostel but a very good one. We had a private room and was just right given the price. As for location, it was great. Imagine being almost across the street from Casa Batlo. It’s also along Passaic de Gràcia which is an amazing shopping street. A great value for families on a long stay in Barecona."

"This is a hostel, it’s great for young people or if a group of propel traveling together takes the whole room . If you need peace and quiet and privacy then you should look for something else. It’s a great location and a lot of things to do around."

"Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable enough, the mattress was okay, and the privacy/block out curtains were great. A few different spaces to hang out. The women’s only dorm had an outdoor patio area to sit and relax. There are a lot of stairs to get through but I didn’t mind. Location was great for walking to park Guell (steep climb up the hill) and some nice shops and eateries close by. Bust station 2 blocks down the hill and Lesseps Stop on metro line 3 made for easy access to everything in...

"I throughly enjoyed my stay. The Loft House is clean and the dorm beds comfy. As I was out with a sketching group all day, it was great to come back to The Loft’s outside patio with a beer and dinner and eat there. The staff was very helpful and kind and I would stay there again."
