"I have mixed feeling about this place. I have to give low scores to cleanliness and services because the toilet was yellowish. This should be a big no!no! to any guests. It took us almost 14 hours to get instructions to use wifi and drinking water situation. The restaurant experience at La Rosa, however, was very pleasant. Food was delicious and never failed to impress us. Staff were very accommodating. View there was amazing!"

"Excellent experience. My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Nayara. Staff was excellent. We had a little travel hiccup before we arrived, but the experienced staff quickly fixed the problem.All the staff were excellent and always happy to help. We cant wait to go again. Just FYI you have to take a domestic flight to get to Bocas Del Torro from Panama city. The food was excellent and the snorkeling. If you want to just get away from the business of every day living this is the place for you."

"What a lovely escape. Its was what we both needed. James was very accommodating. The area was quiet and had a small kitchen to cook. Its right on he water the waves put you to sleep. If you really feel like an adventure take the kayaks to Zapatilos islands only 5 K away! if you are a good paddle it takes on hour. I will come back on my next visit. "

"Azul Paradise exceeded all expectations, thanks to its impeccable accommodations, outstanding service led by managers Jordano and Ricardo, and the unbeatable location. Our bungalow was spacious, immaculately clean, and the panoramic views from the full wall glass windows were simply breathtaking. Waking up to the ocean waves and sounds of the tropical rainforest made us feel totally at peace. While drinking your morning coffee, you will likely see several different species of fish through the glass floor. My wife and I found ourselves with the privacy we needed to reconnect. Often, we were the only ones on the beach, or the only ones on the walking trail enjoying the sounds of nature. We highly recommend this resort, and we look forward to returning in the future!"

"We loved our immersion in nature, wellness, and excellent food and service! Gorgeous and comfortable open-air accomodations in the middle of the jungle. Our family of 3 stayed for 5 nights in the Queen Rainforest treehouse. It was a bit of a hike to get to our room (fine for us, but noting for other travelers who may have limited mobility), but WOW, what a view and cool experience. We saw several monkeys, sloths, and red frogs just walking around the property. The staff took care of all of our needs -- luggage, activities, transportation, etc. The food and drinks deserve their own special category -- nearly all of the ingredients come from the onsite farm -- and are prepared to absolute perfection at each meal. I highly recommend La Loma, if you are willing to step out of the ordinary and experience something completely unique!"

"I loved the privacy and peaceful nature of Akwaba lodge. Natali and family were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was superb! Really enjoyed spending my 30th here. They left me a little birthday gift which was a lovely. It was really clean and comfortable. We even got to go kayaking and paddle boarding with no extra charge! I would stay here again. "From the minute José met us at the Bocas airport, every minute of this adventure and stay was absolute perfection. Casa Cayuco manager Alondra met us at the dock to welcome us and give us a tour. She’s a lovely young woman who goes above and beyond in all she does – like everyone who works at this magical eco resort. We stayed in the one treehouse on the property which was incredible. I slept like a rock every night, and the late evening rain storms were the best. We formed great friendships with the other guests who you share meals and daily adventures with. Speaking of meals, the food is so fresh, healthy and delicious that I’m plotting my return already. You’re offered daily excursions (I did all of them) that include everything from snorkeling at the mangroves and reef, jungle hikes, visiting monkey island – to my favorite – watching baby sea turtles leave their nest and make their way to the sea! So beautiful I nearly cried… I held an octopus, swam with nurse sharks and rays, saw some of the most vibrantly colored coral I’ve seen in years and soaked up every moment of beauty and joy. It’s also great to just hang out on the dock, in a hammock, snorkel around the dock or take a kayak or paddle board out on the crystal clear water. If you care about sustainability, love nature, want to meet like-minded travelers, enjoy off-the-beaten path adventures and desire to hang out in paradise with some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, this is the place for you. "
