My father got into an accident while we were in Sun Moon Lake, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had help in every way possible - from arranging transportation for us to/from the hospital, to checking in on us even after we checked out. I was speechless by the level of kindness. Furthermore, the rooms with the lake view were better than I even imagined. Thank you, Fleur de Chine staff! I will certainly be back again. "

"My first room had visible black mold, including areas where the mold had been covered by wall paper. It smelled horribly but having arrived from the US I was too exhausted to ask for a new room the first night. I was politely moved to a different room the next day & supplied with a dehumidifier. It was an improvement but even running constantly it was never less than 65% humidity & musty smell. Despite the kindness of the staff, I wouldn’t recommend because of the issues with mold & mildew."

"Location was close to MRT and central location to ride to Daqing to transfer to TRA. Room was comfortable and quiet. Able to hang out all day in Taichung and rest well. We forgot our charger and power bank and staff had it packaged up for us when we returned for it."
